Vegetation against your home may look great but it holds moisture against the siding. Your home does not get a chance to dry out after a snow or rain. Siding starts to rot. Insects like moisture and will start the process of invading your home where the vegetation is close or touching your home. Cut back your plants a few feet away from your home.
