Using high-tech equipment and all my senses, (hopefully not taste! ;-) I look for mold in areas of concern.

Using an air sampling machine in conjunction with a professional lab, compares outside mold air quality to the interior of a home or business.

Using a Borescope, I can literally see into walls (I must be able to drill into the wall or find a way to push from a direction that does not require a new hole).

Some mold suspected and found behind the toilet wall and washer/dryer room wall.

Finding mold on the sheathing of an attic is very common. I see it at least 50% of all attics I crawl into.

My job is mainly to help you pinpoint where the mold is, how it got there and where the moisture is coming from. If you know all of that and all you need is air samples and swabs to confirm it, I can do that. Yet many just don't fully know why they are feeling badly from the air quality in the interior buildings. So the process is:

  1. Find the mold

  2. Find the source of the moisture

  3. Find the source of the contaminated air

  4. Test if needed

  5. Repair and clean all affected areas (I do not repair or clean. I can suggest those that do)

  6. Add equipment (such as fans) to help stop mold buildup
